The Astoria Daily Record is a custom-made historical newspaper that tells the story of Astoria, Oregon through articles and advertisements, most of which are drawn from actual newspapers printed in the past (found on microfilm at the Astoria public library). Copies were printed on newsprint at the facilities of the Daily Astorian, Astoria’s current (real) newspaper, and originally distributed as coffee-table books at Astoria’s Commodore Hotel.
